130.02. the 3P's. People, Planet, and projects

Hey Jim great to hear you on Focus on the Family

One thing I believe Parenting School often misses is something my first baby taught me.

I see a newborn as arriving filled with God's presence. From conception, God is creating new life through that union of egg and sperm. In many ways, a baby begins life closer to God than at any other time. Yet from the moment they are born, we often start shaping them to "fit in" to the world around them.

What if, instead, we helped them stay connected to that spiritual closeness with God through prayer, singing, Christian Radio and a love centered environment? Babies are naturally open, trusting, loving, and curious. Watch how they interact with animals, nature, and people.

Then comes the question every child eventually asks:

"Why?"

Rather than immediately correcting or instructing, we can first enter their wonder.

"Daddy, why is the sky blue?"

"Wow,You're right, the sky is blue. Why do you think it's blue?"

Before teaching, we can listen. Before correcting, we can encourage exploration.

When children feel heard, they learn to share openly and confidently. By reflecting their thoughts back to them and inviting them deeper into their own discoveries, we help them grow with us rather than against us. In this process, we often learn from them as much as they learn from us.

Sometimes I think God speaks through children more than we realize. Their openness, curiosity, and love can teach us a great deal about faith, wonder, and the heart of Christ.. You will learn more from God, as babies are often there with Jesus for years. . . Lol. . . Or can be there for years...

DAY 5 Read 2 Timothy 1:3-14 ("God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline"). So WOW. . . 

I go back to read this again and FEEL what jumps out at me. “I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy.” And yes, I see Jesus all the time, in everything. Each Step, Each Challenge. Each moment, I ask, seek, follow. . . It’s really gotten more clear than ever. And I know it’s in Jesus Christ asking everyone to accept their deepest longings and find the Love hidden deep inside.

I realized that I had to fast again. I mean, I fast from Sunday till Friday then eat all weekend. I mean I had lots to eat over the weekend and I can sense now my body is crying for sugars again now. But I know that stops by morning and everything gets stable soon after. . . Wow, no food for the week seems like a weird thing, except I’ve done I before and it’s really such a waste of time to be chasing foods all the time when most is addictive toxins with no nutrition anyway. Yes, the power and blessing of the Holy Spirit will always sustain me especially as I step more deeply into this experience with Christ, both in Fasting, and More scholarly work. Like the Men’s meeting this morning and the Mass and Bible reading that I do daily now too.

 

DAY 6: Read 2 Corinthians 12:4-27 (the Body of Christ). This passage really has always been so strong for me. I’ve tried to explain to people before how we are all of God and everyone has a value and place. No matter what we think or who we ignore and discount over and over again I’ve told people how they are critical to the Whole. WE ALL ARE!

No one seems to believe me. I always get the sense that no one believes me. Like I’ve said countless times how I grew-up in the woods. I know this so clearly now, as I remember one time even hiding from my mom?  That really sounds weird, but it was at the very beginning. Literally I remember that first fort I made hidden in the pine trees and sitting there watching my mom calling for me, and not replying so she didn’t know about my fort.

This again is bringing me into deeper understanding and experience of myself. Of course it’s all about God and the Holy Spirit, that is all that we ever have been. deeper and clearer these traits become as we read and explore more. Like The Bible in A year has completely shifted as well. I know now it’s really a story about me, and the 40 years of conflict and selfishness we all have to experience. It seems to be fundamental for our deeper growth and understanding. Like Layer, or Level of spirit we each must experience to bring the fuller understanding of Gods Love!

DAY 7 Repetition. Now again, I’m in such love and peace with the person of Christ creating the people in the project. This is from a reread of the book where the person of Christ brings the people of God into the Kingdom . . . Yes, Ignatius SEEL book Page 256 to commit to the person of Jesus, the people of God, for the final project as the Kingdom of God. Yes we return to the 3P's. People, Planet, and profit . . . While I know deep inside this last “P” is the lie, the deception and the challenge before us. . . . As instead of satan himself the profit is actually the growth and improvement for the people instead of just the cash. So now again in this repeat it’s more about my own growth and understanding in a newer level.

But it’s really me back to my P’s too. Jesus is always presenting new Projects to me, everything is a new design and new experience. Like part of adding these pictures is to see the times and numbers that continue to swirl all around me. I’ve fasted since Sunday and my Body shifted the Ketones finally and it’s really a power shift inside of me . . . Yes of course it’s another P. And suddenly I flash back to Dr. Nord and the Power and Control Book he did.
